Professors from the Department of Construction Management: GUO Hongling, TANG Wenzhe, CHEN Jiayu and LIAO pinchao attended the welcome event. Professor TSEMBEL and TSENGUUN from the Citi University of Mongolia also travelled to Tsinghua to witness this important milestone for the new students.

Faculty members delivered insightful and encouraging speeches centred on the program’s educational philosophy. They walked students through the full‑fledged postgraduate study framework, introducing core courses covering safe construction, smart construction, green construction and future‑city studies, as well as a broad range of elective options. Professors encouraged students to excel academically, engage actively in seminars and group projects, and fully embrace Tsinghua’s inclusive multicultural campus life. They invited the new cohort to build cross‑border friendships, experience Beijing’s profound history and dynamic modern vitality, and pursue all‑round personal growth beyond coursework.

Senior students from ICPM Class of 2025 were also present. They shared hands‑on practical advice covering research pathways, course selection, scholarship applications and daily campus life. Their sharing showcased the supportive peer‑to‑peer mentorship culture within the ICPM community.

The welcome ceremony concluded with an open‑floor self‑introduction and networking session. Teachers and new students from all over the world got to know one another in a friendly, lively atmosphere.
